This article describes ODE Architect, a multimedia teaching and research tool for differential equations. The various modules (mathematical models) that come with the software are described.
The author describes some of the benefits of integrating technology into an ODEs course and some strategies and resources for doing so.
DFIELD and PPLANE are two programs for manipulating the graphical solutions to ODEs, written by John Polking. The author of this review found that these two programs have a low learning curve and high reliability and performance.
This paper presents a model for the characteristic dynamics behind Plume Geyser's eruption intervals.
