In his article, "Things I Have Learned at the AP Reading", Dan Kennedy describes his experience as an AP reader and some of the most noteworthy subtleties about calculus he learned from this experience. Amongst these subtleties is that of losing a domain value when simplifying an equation, the true meaning of left and right hand derivatives, the need for algebraic limits in first year calculus, differential equations with hidden solutions, and creative yet invalid methods for solving problems.
